Austroads is looking for a Programs Administrator to support its project focused on national harmonisation of temporary traffic management (TTM) practices.

Based in Sydney, the Programs Administrator will provide administrative and general project support to ensure successful completion and delivery of the Temporary Traffic Management harmonisation program.

This project is harmonising temporary traffic management practice through the development and provision of improved technical guidance, the harmonisation of the training environment for TTM practitioners, a registration framework  for organisations seeking to deliver TTM services and a national approach to recognise new and innovative devices and solutions.

The role fits within the Austroads Service Delivery team, which has a strong focus on functionality and sustained excellence of the organisation’s established products.

The role is responsible for:

  • Supporting the National Temporary Traffic Management Operations Manager in operational processes for the National Harmonisation of Temporary Traffic Management Practice.
  • Providing administrative support for meetings, including compilation and distribution of agenda papers, and minute/note taking and follow-up actions.
  • Invoice management.
  • Managing the TTM Operations and TTM Training email accounts.
  • Managing the interim IT and Finance processes for TTM Operations.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement, identifying ways to enhance value for our members and the public.
  • Maintaining and adhere to Quality Systems processes and procedures associated with the role.
  • Administrative support of Temporary Traffic Management National training material and localised content.
  • Maintaining Continuous Improvement Register and Feedback Register.
  • Validation of evidence supplied from RTOs or ATPs regarding ATP applications and/or contract variations.
  • Seeking additional information regarding ATP applications, contract variations and/or other information as required from RTOs and ATPs.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Austroad members and key stakeholders.
  • Other duties as directed.
