Intellitrac ELITE-300-EP23 type approved

23 October 2026

Transport Certification Australia (TCA) has announced today that Intellitrac’s ELITE-300-EP23 telematics device has obtained type-approval at Level 2.

Paddy Goodall, General Manager Service Delivery at Austroads, congratulated Intellitrac on the achievement.

‘TCA’s type-approval provides assurance that the ELITE-300-EP23 telematics device has been independently assessed against the requirements set out in the Telematics Device Technical and Functional Specification,’ he said.

‘The type-approval process evaluates whether a device can meet key functional, technical, security and environmental requirements. This gives government, industry and end-users confidence in the reliability, integrity and performance of the technology,’ he added.

The approval of the ELITE-300-EP23 further expands the range of telematics devices that have been independently assessed and recognised by TCA, supporting the delivery of trusted vehicle data and enabling improved safety, productivity and compliance outcomes across the transport sector.

IntelliTrac is also progressing its submission to become a certified Application Service Provider to offer services through the National Telematics Framework.
