Interim OBM
Smart OBM systems are replacing Interim OBM arrangements.
Smart OBM systems exceed the minimum requirements of Interim OBM, and can be used to satisfy the requirements of any access arrangement that requires Interim OBM.
Note: Interim OBM systems cannot be used for Smart OBM. Most OBM systems can be upgraded to Smart OBM.
What does it mean?
If you’re already operating under Interim OBM, you’ll need to upgrade your OBM system before operating in any scheme that requires Smart OBM.
Speak to your OBM supplier.
If you’re buying an OBM system, it is important that you choose a Smart OBM system if you want to benefit from all current and future schemes that require on-board mass (OBM) monitoring.
