LRTAQ/ALRTA Combined National Conference – March 2024

Transport Certification Australia attended the combined Livestock and Rural Transporters Association of Queensland (LRTAQ) and Australian Livestock and Rural Transporters Association (ALRTA) conference in Toowoomba on 21-23 March.

The conference examined ways of using technology to drive productivity.
Speaking on a panel about the use of technology and data, Gavin Hill discussed how telematics data is benefiting productivity in the freight sector.

TCA currently receives telematics location data from more than 14,000 and telematics mass data from nearly 1,500 high productivity vehicles. This important information resource is being used by road managers across the country to improve access decisions and reduce red tape.
