Position - Senior Policy Officer

 

Job Summary

TCA requires a highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Senior Policy Officer to perform a key role within a national government body.

Working directly to the General Manager, Strategic Development, and supporting the Corporate Management Group, the purpose of this role is to develop high quality reports, papers, presentations, submissions and policy in the field of telematics and related intelligent technologies.

The ability to distil complete subject matter, have a high attention to detail, and have the ability to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, is a must.

Experience in government and/or public policy development would be desirable.

This role is based in Melbourne CBD, and the successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Police Record Check.

Position - Specification Manager

 

Job Summary:

TCA seeks an experienced Specification Manager to develop and maintain TCA's growing suite of performance based functional and technical specifications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Producing high-quality specifications for traditional and non-traditional stakeholders, with a focus on strategically aligning technical material with key policy outcomes and intent.
  • Conceiving, developing, enhancing and maintaining TCA’s comprehensive library of functional and technical specifications, managing updates and revisions holistically and consistently across the specification library
  • Conducting research into, and incorporating into specifications, key government and industry developments in policy and technology related to TCA's strategic focus and vision
  • Interpreting and translating complex functional and technical requirements into accurate, consistent and concise written performance-based requirements
