Position _ Data Insights Analyst

Transport Certification Australia (TCA) seeks a Data Insights Analyst to join its growing team.

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate individual who has high attention to detail, a hands-on approach and who thrives in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Job Details/ Responsibilities:

The Reporting and Data Insights Analyst is responsible for the delivery of high quality, timely and effective reports that meet the expectations of stakeholders. Specifically you will:

  • Analyse and interpret telematics data, to create engaging and insightful reports
  • Document your analysis and findings in a manner that is easily understood by a broad audience
  • Develop and implement databases, collection systems and data analytics strategies to optimise statistical efficiency and quality

Requirements/ Your Background

You will be able to demonstrate excellent research and analytical skills, and will possess a knowledge of databases such as MSSQL and MySQL. Additionally, you will have experience in the visualisation of data using Tableau or MS Excel. Experience with advanced analytics software such as Alteryx, Rapidminer or similar will be highly regarded, as will knowledge of heavy vehicle transport planning principles and/ or a tertiary qualification in maths, economics, computer science, information management or statistics.

This role is based in the Melbourne CBD, and the successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Police Check.
