Position - Reporting and Data Insights Analyst 

 

Job Summary

The Reporting and Data Insights Analyst is responsible for the delivery of high quality, timely and effective reports that meet the expectations of stakeholders. Specifically you will:

  • Analyse and interpret telematics data, to create engaging and insightful reports
  • Document your analysis and findings in a manner that is easily understood by a broad audience
  • Develop and implement databases, collection systems and data analytics strategies to optimise statistical efficiency and quality

Requirements/ Your Background

You will be able to demonstrate excellent report writing, research and analytical skills, and will possess a knowledge of databases such as MSSQL and MySQL. Additionally, you will have experience in the visualisation of data using Tableau or MS Excel. Experience with advanced analytics software such as Alteryx, Rapidminer or similar will be highly regarded, as will knowledge of heavy vehicle transport planning principles and/ or a tertiary qualification in maths, economics, computer science, information management or statistics.

Position - Strategic Analyst and Policy Officer

 

Job Summary

TCA requires a highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Strategic Analyst and Policy Officer to perform a key role within a national government body.

Working directly to the General Manager, Strategic Development, and supporting the Corporate Management Group, this role requires high-level analytical, writing and communication skills to draft documents - and critically review documents prepared by others ahead of publication - with a view to the needs of different audiences.

The ability to distil complete subject matter, have a high attention to detail, and have the ability to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, is a must.

Experience in government and/or public policy development would be desirable.

Position - Project Manager

Transport Certification Australia (TCA) seeks a highly-skilled project manager. The Operations Project Manager will oversee the delivery of a range of projects as well as business-as-usual activities that support the use of telematics and related technologies by governments.

This role is a unique opportunity for a passionate individual who has excellent project management skills, high attention to detail, a hands-on approach and who thrives in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the management and coordination of project activities. Specifically:

  • Manage deliverables and milestones against an agreed project plan
  • Ensure delivery against project deliverables, time-frames and budget
  • Manage reporting across multiple projects
  • Provide a high-level coordination role to various project steering and reference groups, including the establishment of strategic alliances and management of key stakeholder groups
  • Maintain and adhere to quality systems processes and procedures
  • Manage multiple competing priorities in a changing environment
  • Work collaboratively across TCA to ensure project success.

TCA seeks an experienced Knowledge Manager to develop and champion TCA's Knowledge Management Strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • taking the lead on the delivery of TCA's knowledge management portal
  • providing a strategic view on the development of knowledge management systems and practices
  • encouraging employees to share knowledge, ensuring they are aware of knowledge management resources
  • promoting and assisting the adherence to naming conventions and quality systems.
